Brandywine Children’s House welcomes any child without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, sex, national origin, or limited English proficiency. Parents must be willing and able to follow school policies and provide a continuity of experience for their child.

BCH includes an internationally diverse population of children and parents. The teaching staff at BCH are proficient in French, Flemish, German, Dutch, and Swedish. In addition, some of our enrolled parents are proficient in Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Polish, and Spanish and have agreed to act as interpreters should the need arise. If you require interpretive assistance, please let us know. If your primary language is not on our list, we will endeavor to find an appropriate interpreter.

Parents who are interested in pursuing enrollment are asked to call 610-640-1202 to schedule a visit to the school, to meet the Academic Director and explore the facility.

The next step in the enrollment process is the submission of the application form along with the $50.00 application fee. Once the school has accepted the application, parents are asked to execute the remaining portions of the enrollment package and return the package to the school. The enrollment package consists of the following:

  • Enrollment Record and Acceptance Agreement
  • Statement of Policy
  • Disciplinary Practice
  • Authorization for Emergency Medical Care and First Aid
  • Permissions
  • Child Health Appraisal

All children are admitted on a six-week trial basis. Parents will be invited to confer about the child’s progress at the end of that time.
